Commissions have ranged from adapting old treasured jewellery to designing new pieces for special occasions. These could be gifts such as cuff-links or making a necklace to match a specific dress.
Breathing new life into old treasures
The process of working with a client to satisfy their personal requirements is always a wonderfully satisfying challenge. I am always delighted to give new life to an old piece of jewellery: it could be an old family piece that is broken or looks too old-fashioned, or a piece the client bought many years earlier and no longer likes as much as they once did. I can either adapt the old piece by developing the design or re-use the stones and metal in a new setting .

Over the years, I’ve built deep relationships with the people I source from and the clients I create for. It’s a shared journey of trust, stories, and memories – transforming meaningful materials into something new, personal and lasting. That connection is what keeps me inspired after 38 years.
I wanted to combine my mother’s wedding ring with a diamond ring she left me, and found inspiration in one of Maria’s designs. She used the same textured surface, and I loved the flow of the stones. The new ring is not only stunning, but full of memory – and will one day be a joy to pass on.
